8 Garlic roasted
1/4 cup Peanuts roasted
1/2 cup coconut roasted
2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
For vada pav
2 Potatoes boiled, mased
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Asafoetida / Hing
4 Curry Leaves
3 Garlic
2 Green Chilies
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Coriander Leaves
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 cup Besan / Gram flour
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Asafoetida / Hing
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
2 cup vegetable oil
4 Bun Bread pav

Spicy Vada Pav Step by step

For green chutney mix all ingredients together in a blender, add water and blend it. Chutney should be thick.

For garlic chutney takes roasted garlic, roasted peanuts, roasted coconut in a Blender, add red chili powder and salt. Blend it till it turns into a fine paste.

Now take a pan, heat oil add mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and cook it.

Add garlic, chopped green chili and saute it.

Add turmeric powder and mashed potatoes. Mix it well.

Add coriander leaves, salt, and lemon juice.

Take a bowl, add gram flour, turmeric powder, chili powder, asafoetida, salt, baking soda, and water. Make a smooth batter.

Make a golf ball size balls of potato batter and coat it with the batter.

Put the balls in hot oil, deep fry it till they turn golden brown.

Drain on absorbent paper and keep aside.

Slice each pav into half, spread garlic chutney and green chutney on each side.
