1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds

1 tsp Chickpeas split
1 tbsp Peanuts roasted
1 tbsp coconut
Salt to taste
3 Green Chilies
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp vegetable oil

Puffed Rice Oggarane (Spicy Puffed Rice) Step by step

In a pan fry split black gram, fresh coconut, roasted peanuts, cumin seeds, salt and grounded into powder.

Soak puffed rice in a big vessel.

In a nonstick pan, add oil and when hot add mustard seeds, cumin, split black gram, split chickpeas, peanuts, curry leaves and saute for a minute.

Now add turmeric powder, onion,chillies, tomato and saute for 5 min.

Now squeeze the puffed rice from water and add to the nonstick pan.

Add the prepared powder, salt and mix well.
