Desi Keema Patties Step by step

In a bowl, add maida (cake flour), a little oil and mix with hands till it becomes like bread crumbs.

Add water, add salt, black pepper powder, carom seeds and knead a dough. Keep this dough aside.

Take frying pan, add oil and then add cumin seeds.

When cumin seeds change color, then add onions.

Saute onions till they become translucent and then add green chilies.

Saute it for a minute and add keema, salt, red chili powder, black pepper powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and stir fry it for about 2-3 minutes.

Add water and cover it, cook it till it gets thickens.

Meanwhile, in another pan, add ghee and add chopped raisins, cashew nuts, almonds and fry them till they become golden brown.

Mix dry fruits in keema mixture and turn off the flame.

Now, take the dough, make small balls from it.

Roll out into a small circle and cut from sides to make it a square shape.

Place the filling in half side and fold it triangularly giving it a shape of patties, press the edges.

With a fork, mark it from sides to make a design and also it will get closed.

In a deep pan, deep fry these till they golden brown. Serve Keema Patties with tomato sauce.
