South Indian Style Crispy Onion Fritter (Pakoda)
- 3 Onions cut into small cubes
- 2 Green Chilies chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Ajwain
- 1 cup Besan / Gram flour
- 2 cup Vegetable oil
- In a bowl, add gram flour, salt, chilies, ajwain, baking soda, water, and mix well into a smooth batter
- Heat oil in a wok
- When hot, add onion cubes into a batter and drop them in oil with the help of a spoon.
- Fry till it gets a golden brown color and serves hot with ketchup, green chutney, and tamarind chutney.
