How To Make Real Indian Masala Tea

Chai the popular beverage of India, which is made with five spices ginger, cinnamon, cloves, cardamon and black pepper.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Tea Leaves
  • 4 tsp Sugar
  • 2 Cloves powder
  • 2 Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 inch Ginger grated
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder

Instructions

  • In a small pan with handle, heat water and boil it
  • Now add grated ginger, cinnamon, cloves powder, green cardamom, fennel seeds and black pepper. Boil it for 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Now add tea leaves and let it brew for one minute, or longer if you want strong tea.
  • Now add milk and sugar. Boil it for 3-4 minutes.
  • Strain hot tea into the mug and enjoy it with bread, cookies or biscuits.
