Baked Vegetable Lasagna Step by step
For the white sauce
Melt butter and oil in a saucepan, add all-purpose flour and stir it until it becomes golden brown, now add milk and stir it to get a smooth sauce. Bring it to the boil and add salt, pepper and mix herbs.
For the tomato sauce
Take a saucepan add oil,grated garlic, onion and cook it for a minute till onion becomes golden brown, now add boiled tomato put without skin, basil, salt and pepper. Stir occasionally, cook it for 10 minutes till it becomes little thick.
For the lasagna
Take a large pan and boil the lasagna pasta in oil, salted water.Boil the pasta till it bites in a teeth. Remove the pasta in a bowl filled with cold water to stop the cooking of lasagna.
For the vegetable sauce
For vegetable sauce, take oil in a pan, add garlic and onion and saute it for a minute. Now add carrot, bell pepper, spinach, broccoli, mushroom, zucchini. You can add any vegetable of your choice,
seasoned it with salt, red chilli flakes, oregano, mix herbs and cook it till all the vegetables become softened.
Take a 9-13 inch baking dish and assemble all the ingredients, the first layer the tomato sauce then layer the lasagna pasta one layer, spread tomato sauce, vegetable sauce and white sauce on it. Sprinkle some parmesan and cheddar cheese and Repeat layer with remaining ingredients.
Sprinkle some more cheese on the top layer of lasagna and cover it with aluminium foil and bake it at 180 degrees for 15 minutes in the oven and after that remove the aluminium foil and bake it for another 10 minutes.
