Chinese Style Stir Fry Beetroot with Garlic

Healthy and delicious winter special, beet stir fry this goes well with plain rice, chapati or roti.

  • 2 Beetroot sliced lengthwise
  • 1 Garlic peeled, sliced lengthwise
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 Capsicum
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil


  • In a wok, add olive oil .
  • When hot, add garlic, capsicum , salt, Chinese salt, pepper and stir fry for 3 to 4 min. Transfer to a serving bowl.
  • In the same wok, add beetroot and stir fry for few minutes. Add salt, pepper and stir fry in wok.
  • To this add capsicum and garlic and sesame seeds and toss well. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve hot.
