Indian Inspired Flat Bread

Ingredients

  • 200 gms All Purpose Flour
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 11 pcs Safforn
  • 3 pcs Star Anise
  • 1 tbsp Food Oil
  • 5 tbsp All Purpose Flour Dusting

Instructions

  • Take the flour, Add salt and oil and mix it. Pour star anise into hot boiling water.Take that water into another bowl and add saffron.Rest it for 5 mins.
  • Now knead the dough with infused water (Water should be at room temperature ).The dough should be soft but not sticky.Rest the dough for 10 mins.
  • Take out the dough and knead again with oily hands.If needed also use some plain flour for dusting.Distribute the dough into 4 equal parts.Roll out the dough into a proper circle and put it onto the pan. Cook it on low flame.
  • When you start seeing blisters on the upper side then turn it upside down.You will see the bread puffing up.as soon as the bread puffs up to take it out and apply some butter on top.Best served with masala tea or honey.
