Student Style Veg Biriyani Step by step

Soak the rice in water for 15 minutes.

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add ginger garlic paste. Add green chillies, onions and cook for 2 mins.

Add the diced vegetables and cook for 2 mins.

Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, veg biriyani powder and cook for 5 mins without the lid.

Now add the soaked rice, 3 cups of water and stir toll everything is finely mixed.

Add yogurt and cook upto 2 whistles.

Wait for the pressure to release. Add a tsp of ghee(optional) and garnish with coriander leaves.
