1 pc Soft Yam
2 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Asafoetida / Hing
1 tsp Black salt
1 tbsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Mango powder
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Coriander Leaves chopped
1 tsp coconut
1 Piece Green Chillies chopped
1/2 tsp ginger
2 tsp Food oil
For Garnishing
3 tsp Coriander Leaves
4 tsp Green Chili Chatni
4-5 tsp Tiny Sev

Tuvar (Green Pigeon Peas) Yam Chaat Step by step

Take Semi crush the tuvar / pigeon pea, take some oil and fry with asafetida. Add some water, salt and cook for few minutes.

Add ginger, chili and shake well. Take it from the stove, mix pepper, black salt, red chili powder, and mango powder and prepare chaat spice.

Remove the barks of yam and chop it. Boil it with the steam of stove, Sprinkle some salt.

Take oil in non-stick pan and fry till it turns light pink. Make the stuff slight warm and add coconut, coriander.

Spread on the slices of yam and spread the green chatni on all the sides. Sprinkle the tiny sev and chaat spice and serve it.
