1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup water
For the filling
2 cups Sattu
5 Garlic clove chopped
1/2 inch Garlic chopped
3 Green Chillies chopped
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves chopped
1 tsp Ajwain
1 tsp Nigella sativa/kalonji
1 tsp Mango powder
1 tbsp Mango pickle masala
1 tsp Mustard Oil
Salt to taste
Ghee / Saturated Butter to serve
For the chokha
3 Potatoes boiled
1 Onions chopped
1 Green Chillies chopped
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves chopped
1/2 tsp Mustard Oil
1/2 tsp Lemon juice
Black salt to taste
For tempering in chokha
1 tbsp Food oil
1 Red Chillies roughly torn
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds

For making dough

First put the flour, ghee, and salt in a bowl and mix with fingers, and then add a little water at a time while kneading to make the dough.

For preparing filling

Put all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix with fingers. Adjust the seasoning if required.

For making litties

Now make balls out of the prepared dough, little bigger than the size of golf ball. Make a well at the center and place the filling, then seal it properly. Same way prepare all.

Preheat the oven at 200 degrees Celsius. Place the “littis” inside the oven and roast till they are golden brown.

Put everything together in a bowl and mash till well combined. Adjust the seasoning.

For tempering

To temper it, heat oil in a small pan, and add the mustard seeds and red chili, let them crackle and just spread over the prepared chokha.
