1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Coriander Cumin Powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder
to taste Salt
1 small Onions finely chopped
2 Green Chillies finely chopped
2 tsp Garlic finely chopped
a pinch Asafoetida / Hing
1 tbsp Mustard Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
250 gms Cluster Beans finely chopped

Guvar Phali Sabji (Cluster Beans Vegetable) Step by step

Wash and pat dry the beans.

Finely chop the beans.

Smoke mustard oil then add mustard seeds. Let them splutter.

Add asafoetida.

Add in the chopped garlic and green chilies and saute till the garlic turns brown.

Next add and saute the onions till they turn pink.

Now add the beans we chopped earlier.

Season with salt and turmeric powder and mix.

Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes or until the beans are cooked.

Time to spice up the sabzi. In goes the coriander cumin and red chili powder and mix. We are also going to add some chopped tomatoes to add a bit of sourness and add make it slightly saucy.

Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy.

Enjoy hot with Chapatis/Paratha or Bhakris.
