1/4 tsp Asafoetida / Hing
1 tbsp Vinegar

Double Layer Dhokla Step by step

Combined the besan,semolina,citric acid, sugar, ginger, chilli paste and salt with 3 cup of water in a deep bowl. Mix well till no lumps remain.

Add the fruit salt and 1 tbsp of water over it, when the bubbles formed mix gently.

Divided the batter into the two portions. Add the green paste in one portion and mix it well.

Pour the batter into a greased microwave bowl one by one very slowly. Microwave on high power for 5 minutes and keep aside.

Heat oil in a microwave bowl add the mustard seeds, chillies,vinegar and
asafoetida. microwave for 1 minute.

Pour equal quantities of the tempering over the steamed Dhokla and cut the small ring pieces and garnished with mini tower and served.
