Potato Peas Sandwich

One of the Indian classic street food made with potato and green peas.

Ingredients

  • 1 pc Loaf Bread slices
  • 1 tbsp Amul Butter
  • 1/8 cup Green Peas boiled
  • 2 pcs Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 bowl Coriander Leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 bowl Cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Mince green chillies, coriander leaves, salt and water in a mixture to make green chutney.
  • Mash potatoes and peas together in a bowl.
  • Add salt, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice & sugar to potato-peas stuffing. Mix well.
  • Trim brown edge crusts of the bread slices with knife.
  • Apply butter to one side of the bread slices.
  • Take one buttered bread slices. Spread little chutney on top of butter.
  • Put stuff, add cheese and cover with another slice.
  • Press well and cut into four square pieces with sharp knife.
  • Dot with tomato ketchup and serve. You can even grill the sandwich.
